Kya hamara Chairman Mohd. Nafees 'Kalia' ka chairman elect hona faidemand ya nuksandai hai

Well thanks to all who have given a tremendous response to my earlier blog. With your kind cooperation i am initiating a new blog. I hope you will give clear cut opinions about the same. So go ahead and grab the baton till it drops.

  1. I feel we all so called literates should be ashamed of the fact that our town is represented politically by a corrupt, irresponsible, illiterate and power-hungry man who is having criminal record. I think bhargain needs a right thinking men at the helm of political affairs.

  5. Asslamalikum to everbody. Somebody told me about this blog. It is a new initiative.

    Further I feel that the re-election of Mr. Kalia is faiyedemand hai useke liye aur bhargain ke liye. Wo Bhargain ke un unpadon aur pade likhon pe bakhoobi hukumat kar raha and hum literate aankh band kar baithe hain.

    Mere walid janab Abdul latif khan sahab ne ek tough fight de us kaliya ko. Magar kuchh pade likhon ne unhe haraya. Main unke naam nahin lena chahta.
    Is se pehle main dekh raha tha ki kuch log kah rahe padhe likhon ne es gaon ke liye kya kiya. t main fakr ke sath kah sakta hoon mere walid ne gaon ke liye bahut kuchh kiya. He was the first graduate of bhargain. He has both directly and indirectly given a lot to bhargain. I appreciate him not becuase he is my father but he is a man of great guts.
    He has tried to educate not only his family but others also. around 12 persons were recruited in the army by him. He after serving long years in army has returned to bhagain and within a short span of time he is well known face in the entire district. Through his image he has tried to improve the image of Bhargain.

    What more you want to hear from me.

  6. Remember the charity begins at home. Almighty Allah has said you are duty bound to serve your family first,then your needy relatives and then others.I am happy that persons from bhargain are now openly responding to my blog. feel free to express your views.
    I hope i have selected a tough topic and some are slightly inconvenient with the new topic. I would appreciate somebody if someone writes about the good qualities of 'kalia'

  9. well said Mr. Azhar. Where are Ravi, Rahman, Rauf etc. Are they afraid of exposing themselves. This is my real meaning of literate people. Literate means who are bold, honest and dedicated. It is an irony of Bhargain that the power has gone into the hands of these corrupt illiterate people. In my opinion the so called neo literates are even worse than the people like 'Kalias'.

    Mr. Kalia is ruling Bhargain. My congratulations to him. Ye naye padhe likhe roz uske darbar mein hazari dete hain aur apne aap ko padha likha kehte hain. Aapko ye Ghulami mubarak ho.

    Dear Azhar,

    Aap log Bhargain ki Awam se bahut door rahe hai aur aap ke taalukaat bhi bahut kam logo se hai aap sirf summer vacation ya fir shadiyon tah mehdood rahe hai...Aap agar Bhargain ke logo se jude hote to shayad aaj Kalia Chairman nahi hota ...Pahle aap apna tajziya(Analyse) kare ki aap Election kyun haare ....Aap ne sirf ek taraf ki ek community pakad li thi aur hum logo se bhi milna munasib nahi samjha tha....aisi bahut sari wajah thi jis se aapko haar ka samna karna pada Kaliya ko Gaon ne nahi Aapne jitaya hai aur aap ne hi use chairman banaya hai...Jin logo me kabhi aap baithana pasand nahi karte hai woh log aapko kyun chairman banayenge....agar hum log ek doosare ko jante hai to yeh hamare personal taalukaat hai na ki aap kabhi mujhse kisi doosare nazariye ki buniyaad par mile hai....Raha sawal Mr Bhatti ka to main sirf yeh kah sakta hoon ki aap sirf mubarakbaad hi de sakte hai na ki koi oppose.
    Mr Bhatti aapko bhargain ki politics me kya aata hai pls explain karna,....yeh sirf mashware ke liye hai....Bhai pahle aap bhargain ko pahchano baad me comment karo...yeh bahar se analyse karna thik nahi hai,....main manta hu ki 20% log bahut kharab hai leki un 80% ka kya kahenge....woh unpad hai lekin aap un logo ko apne saath kar sakte hai.....is liye main aapko bhargain ko pehchan ne ki request kar raha hoon ....

  12. Pyare bhaiyon,

    Assalamalaikum,

    It is indeed fascinating to read all these fierce and bold comments. RAUF said 'hum Kabhi Kalia ke na to Ghulam the na kabhi hoge'.

    Mujhe na hi kaliya se hamdardi hai na hi captain sahab se. Mera bhi maksad un like minded admiyon ko jodna hai jo sahi sochte hain.

    Ahtesham Said "Aap agar Bhargain ke logo se jude hote to shayad aaj Kalia Chairman nahi hota".

    Well said both of you.

    As far as bhatti is concerned I want to explain that 'Bhatti' kaun aur kahan hai iska answer hai ki 'bhatti' ek institution hai. Koi individual nanin.
    I am really thankful to all those who are responding on this blog. Your outpour on this blog is always welcome. Tell your friends about this blog.

  17. Dear friends,

    I think azhar has correctly pointed towards the topic. We are missing sight of the topic.

    I feel that election of present chairman for the third time has taken Bhargain 20 yrs back. He has simply filled his pockets leaving a single penny for the destitutes and downtrodden. Remember he will be elected for the fourth time untill and unless something drastic happens. This is the high time that we should keep our flocks together. Remember any mafia like kalia will not help Bhargain. I have seen each and every contestent in last elections. No body has got the guts to face kalia as we did which is history mow. It is easy to critisize by standing out than be a part of the machinary. Thus come out openly against the malafide intentions of Kalia.
    Fight, Fight &&&&&&&&&& ............fight.

    Now I want to respond to some of the earlier comments on the Blog.

    I hope I am able to understand Bhargain in a better way than most Bhattis do. My parents have always advised to stick to our roots. I am proud to be related with Bhargain which many do not. There are people who are ashamed of calling themselves as inhabitants of Bhargain. Let us be proud of our roots. Now we three brothers me , Mobin and Azhar understand bhargain in a better way. We have made Bhargain proud by our achievments in our professional life like many other people of Bhargain. In the similar way I want many people from Bhargain should come up and make us proud. Remember it is a poulation of around 40 thousand people or more and has got huge potential to represent Bhargain in many walks of life. My father Capt. Abdul Latif Khan has always helped the down trodden and has an umblemished record in his public life. We certainly want to do something great for Bhargain.
    Every one should be proud of its roots, means your parents,Your Religion, your native place , your country and your clan and so am I .

    1. Do you want the present chairman to continue?
    2. Has he done something towards bhargain inspite of him in power for the last 13 yrs?
    3. Is there any alternative?

    In order to settle the so called allegations against us ,I want to openly declare that I want that 'Kalia' like people should not get elected again. And we will fight against who so ever like 'kalia'. Kindly strengthen my arms.

    Well the discussion is generating a lot of heat. I am happy to see that Aftab, Azhar have clearly voiced their opinion against Kalia. Keep it up. On the other side they are more interested in showing the brighter side of their family which I feel is not required on this blog.

    Dear Mr. Rauf and Rahman
    I think you are a bit shy in openly critisizing Kalia otherwise you are very good in voicing your concern about Bhargain. The reasons are perhaps known to everbody. Don't critisize others on the blog by your name or on the name of Alex. Let us stop mud slinging on each other. I think our common objective should be the defeat of Kalia. If Kalia goes out I am sure things would be different.

    Go on.

    Regarding my comments about this blog I have no comments about a person to whom I do not know much about his deeds and services to the people of Bhargain."A leader with communication skills ,honesty,simplicity,sincerity and dedication to work for the people of Bhargain may definitely prove better than arrogant,dishonest and selfish people.Please remember Urdu Couplets from Allama Iqbal and translation of Quranic Aayats that is "Khuda ne aaj tak us Qaum ki halat nahin badli na ho jisko khyal khud apni halat ke badalne ka."It's right time that we should start looking positive qualities of our brothers and not indulge in mud slinging on this blog by allegations and counter allegations, ours a very peculiar characteristic by birth;The most important thing which can bring change in the people of Bhargain is to practice religion in word and spirit for our peace and prosperity in this world and hereafter.

    1. How can we improve it?
    2. what are the threats and opportunity in it...?
    3. what strategy should we implement to improve this part of society?
    4. how to motivate our primary education system.....?
    5. What are suggetion from yr side? i.e. abt Coaching, extra classes, Extra teachers(Teachers are short in primary), palnning for secondary level....and after that?

    I think our society is not aware about Education Only 10-15 peoples are playing with future of Childrens or can say Future of our Lovely Town.....

    I also would like to invite u all please come and attand our second summit(we are planning to aarrange "SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL SUMMIT 2010" in July 2010).....

  31. Asslamu alaikum;
    The comments posted earlier on this blog have now been responded by Mr Bhatti with the conclusion that it is the indirect criticism of the person under subject matter.Actually it was neither criticism nor appreciation but only a subjective assessment of a situation without enough information.In this regard, it is added that while making any objective assessment of any situation or person , it is necessary to have enough data and documentary evidences rather than making wild assessment likely to be subjected to criticism and may reflect personal biases against anybody and should not be our objective.As a matter of fact ,I am trying to be rational and fair and neutral to everyone and want to analyse the things on the basis of facts and figures to avoid this blog to be a platform for mere criticism and it may eventually help all right thinking people.Please note that today you may criticise somebody and tomorrow others are bound to criticise you.
    “A person who is criticising somebody in front of you, be sure he will criticise you in front of others in your absence.” - Sheikh Saádi rahmatullah alaih

    I will be happy if following information are posted over this blog;
    (i) The expenditure incurred and funds allocated to Nagar panchayat Bhargain during the financial year 2008-2009 under varios developmental and maintenance schemes?
    (ii) The status of surplus lands available with the “Bhargain Nagar Panchayat” as on date, if any and lands transaction and revenue earned therefrom?
    (iii) The lands under unauthorised possession
    (iv) The status of tax dues , realised and pending during financial year 2008-2009.
    The posted information should be authentic and based on facts and documentary evidences.In the absence of above information, it is not possible to analyse the performance of present elected body and this was the reason that I wrote in my earlier blog that I am not in a position to comment.It is much better not to comment rather than prejudiced and controversial comment based on certain assumptions and presumptions.

  32. In continuation, I want to analyse the geo-socio-political scenaraio of Bhargain just for the sake of knowledge of those who wants to learn something from history.That is ;
    (i) In one of the very closely contested local body election in 2000/2001,Mr Abdullah was defeated by a meagre margin of merely 23 votes (appr) and it is interesting to note that he got only 16 votes from eastern part of the town ,popularly known as the Sheikhpura .Nafees might have got little more than that and that way no one is to be blamed except poor psyche of our own people.It was the complete polarisation of election irrespective of merit of candidates.
    (ii) Nafees Kalia whether good/bad what he is today, was no different even in 2000/2001 and it was his people who were with him and still continues to be with him and prevailed over others..Till he continues to enjoy the support of his own people and if the no. of such people are more, he may prevail over others as he has prevailed in the past.
    (iii) So it is the wish of Allah Subanahu Taála what he is today and on the day the wish of Allah will be otherwise ,the Asbab will be created like that only and his own men will desert and rise againt him.We all should respect the wish of Allah Subanahu Taála ,accept the Nafees as the chairman to eliminate the hatred against any individual and wait for the right time to come.
    So Prayer to Allah Subanuhu Taála may bring the desired things for everybody and people for the people of bhargain.
    Another equally interesting is the 1989 Parliament election when Mr Mehfooz Ali Khan (Pyare Mian) of Aliganj was I think SP candidate from Etah Constituency.During his tenure as MP during 1984-1989 he had done his level best for Bhargain and was even alleged by Voter from Majority community with his affinity for Bhargain and lost election.He got sanctioned Railway Station, a bus to Delhi and back ,road from dhakpura to Bhargain and most important of all these Jawahar Navodya Vidyalay which was later shifted to Mohan pura(near Sikandra Rau).You will be surprised to know that he was ditched and humiliated by our own people probably his close connection with Late Rashid Pradhan and got very less vote from Bhargain.Since then nothing has come for Bhargain though some of you may differ with me but truth always prevails.
    Therefore for the people of Bhargain even development work is not important and so far there is no clue to all these unpredictable behaviour .
    I have seen one of the boy having strategy and planning for good education system for Bhargain it is appreciable and commendable and right approach for a change.However it is also important to analyse the failure of present education system in Bhargain to understand the opportunities and challenges ahead to avoid it from becoming another family business. For that few dedicated volunteers are required who can work for the people of Bhargain without any motive for self. It is necessary to finalise the list of such full time dedicated volunteers who are really pained and dedicated for the cause of Bhargain .
    “Tundiye bade mukhalif se na ghabra ae Uqab,
    Yeh to chalti tujhe unchaa udane ke liye.
    I will wait for the finalisation of list of such volunteers from Bhargain with consensus and merit and posted over this blog.In my opinion Non-resident Bhargainites can be good advisers and motivators and nothing more than that.

  33. Dear Rauf,

    I was always waiting to hear a comment on Kalia from You. With utter dismay, you have refrained from answering on this subject on one pretext or the other. I was waiting about your comments about 'Kalia' which could be either appreciating him or critisizing him. Unfortunately you failed in that.

    All the best to you,Anis and others for organising 'Social and Educational Summit 2010'. Really big-big words and big-big names.

  34. Dear Aslam,

    After going through the comments made by you on the blog, it is quite evident that you know perhaps too much about bhargain. Objective assesment and subjective assesment are too different things. Do you really feel that you require all this data for assessing Kalia? A simple layman can easily comment about the deeds of Kalia. Realistic assessment like development in other half of Bhargain, Treatment met out towards the inhabitants of the other part, dividing people of Bhargain is his sole objective. Arrested on Murder Charges of his relatives are not known to you? Does anyone need something more to come out openly with/against him. I feel you know about Kalia even better than me. Look at the way he has prospered. It is really shameful to all of us that he has opened a college inspite of being illiterate and we are stuck to being bookish.

    With proper regard to your comments and your knowledge about Islam, I want to put two questions i.e
    1. Is is a sin to say openly what is wrong or right?
    2. Has Allah, said that you should silently suffer and sustain all the ill doings done against you and your people?
    If no, why everbody is keeping silent.

  35. Asslamu alaikum to dear bhatti and to everybody;
    In a democracy it is the public opinion who decides its leader and as I posted over the blog that the public have elected him as their leader and we should respect the public verdict.Criticism of anyone will not help you anymore and you have to wait for the right time for a change till next election and then try to convince public what you want to say? Regarding my assessment about Nafees Kalia I still want to assess on the basis of factual data rather than mere allegations which are yet to be established/proved in the court of law.Please don’t jump to conclusions out of my comments. Whether he is a good man or bad man who are we to decide and let it be decided by the right person at right platform? By Judges in court/by public in election/ and by administration in offices etc . Then please note that he may be bad man for others but he appears to be a hero for his own people and that’s why he is winning the election and has survived so far.My congratulations will always be to the person who leads the majority.Regarding his achievements on personal front he has blessings of Allah,the Razzaq and that’s why he has prospered.Is he the only one in Bhargain who has prospered and all of them are not chaiman of Bhargain Municipal corporation.Most of them probably qualify under the same category.So please don’t target anybody in isolation when many are like him except few.If opportunity comes to their way ,most of them will prove even worst than Mr Kalia what little experience I have gathered about Bhargain and its people.Let us learn to live together and start respecting each others sentiments and feeling only then we can emerge more stronger and people will respect us.Mr Bhatti you are provoking others to criticise but failing to criticise under your own identity.If you have courage to say something please follow answer(i) to your question as below.
    (i) Regarding to say right or wrong is not a sin in Islam but criticism of anyone in his absence is Gheebat” and is described in Islam as one of the greatest sin like eating flesh of his own brother.If you have courage to stop a bad person from doing bad things then (i) advise him politely in front of him so that he does not feel offended or (ii) stop him by force if you are in a position to do so or (iii) kam se kam dil se bura maniye.
    “Sheikh sahib ki talkh goi ne, aur ulta hi kucch asar dala
    Jaane kitno ne sunke ba’az unka ,intaqaman gunah kar dala.”
    So please avoid Gheebat and follow the Islamic way for redressal of any grievance and have courage to listen any thing positive about a person to whom you hate the most.
    (ii) Secondly, people have done their level best to restrain Mr Nafees Kalia to win the election and simply not tolerated him but so far have not succeeded.Nobody has suffered silently but faced him in his own way but so far his critiques have not succeeded and what I commented earlier that nothing will happen against the wishes of Allah Subhanahu Taála.History is witness that the great empires were routed at the hands of weak people when Allah wished so and weak and helpless were protected from mightiest enemies of world.I need not to explain further in this regard.

  36. Dear Aslam,

    It is really fascinating and brain storming to exchange blogs with you. It seems that you are cool and matured guy. Yes , we are muslims and we all believe in Almighty Allah and of course nothing will happen against the wishes of Allah. I am an staunch critic of Kalia because of his deeds.In this democratic world even George Bush, Mahatma Gandhi have been critisized and believe me critics are necessary in any democratic setup. Allah has rightly said if you have the courage and strength hit back with your utmost power otherwise leave the things on him(Allah) and he will do justice. My question is have we lost power to strike back or we are on the other side.Let us not take the things lying down.

    Presently working in Mumbai.
    Thoughts expressed by Mr Aslam deserve full appreciation, though i do not subscribe to entire content of what he has written. I think that expressing your opinion in public does not amount to geebat. The opinions expressed here are open to all. I am eagerly waiting to hear something postive about Mr Nafis Ahmed on this blog. I fully agree that history has plenty of examples where great empires have perished in no amount of time.

  39. Asslamu alaikum Dear Bhatti , Azhar and others ;
    “Bura jo dekhan mein chala, bura na milya koy’
    Jo dil khojo apno, mujh se bura na hoi”.
    ‘Kabir’
    These lines from Kabir were written about 500 years ago but are relevant even today.
    It is really worth appreciation to see the response over this blog from Mr Bhatti and Mr Azhar and self introduction by Mr Azhar S/o Capt Lateef Khan . Personally I have great respect for Capt Lateef Khan and his fight for the right cause.It is good thing and a healthy sign to appreciate the right ideology ;
    Aadmi jiye to is tarah se jiye ,ki ek lamha kisi pe war na ho,
    Ae junoon itna ahtiyat rahe daamne Ishq taar taar naho.
    Now Mr Bhatti you have taken the side due to deeds of the fellow openly which I really wished to do so .One more thing I want from you is that , you please be brave enough to disclose your identity .It appears to me that you are hiding yourself because you are scared of the fellow,which is unbecoming of Islamic ideology and for a brave Bhatti .You are requested to prove me wrong and come forward.
    Regarding Gheebat, it is ‘Gheebat’ only when you are criticizing a person in his absence either in public or between friends or relatives or over net , may it be for the right cause. I am sure that Mr Nafees is not aware of this blog and he is not understanding what we have posted over here.If Mr Nafees is aware of this blog and he has been explained what we have posted over here only then it will not qualify under Gheebat category which I am sure is not the case. Please avoid it till you are sure that it is not under Gheebat Category.
    Regarding positive qualities of Mr Nafees Ahmed ,Mr Azhar if you want to listen from me please note down.(i) He is the brilliant manipulator and has proved Masiha of the people who has supported him.(ii) He understand better the psychology of Bhattis on the basis of which he has survived the worst and fierest opposition so far.(iii) He is the person who has managed the show anyhow, by hook or by crook the quality to survive as a politician now a days.What more quality you expect out of the fellow in his position ? Of course, he may not qualify your criteria but it hardly matters for him till he is successful in his endeavour.Please note that it is the perspective of the person/body and circumstances crucial to assessment about the others.For example Bhagat Singh was a terrorist for Britishers but a Martyr for Indians,same person, same deed and same act.
    “Izzat aur Zillat sirf aur sirf khuda ke bus mein hai .”
    Regarding criticism in democracy Mr Bhatti, it is a bit unfortunate that persons of your calibre has selected wrong example to cite.In my opinion, you have given too much importance to the topic which it really didn’t deserve. I am really for /against an issue on the basis of facts and figures and appreciate or criticize when it matters and over the right paltform in the way that it is not offending to anyone.
    I really want an intellectual,logical and bonafide debate through this blog to make people to understand the right and wrong and of course, to stand for the right cause.More over you must be aware that we are the people who have always stood for the right cause every time, opposed the wrong cause but probably we lost in number game.You also know it very well that we are not the silent spectator but a warrior who have always fought for our own cause and Inshallah in future also we will stand for the right cause only. Honest reply to honest cause.

  41. Dear Friends,

    I have been silently watching the developments on the blog. It is really astonishing to see people of Bhargain on the blog are actively participating on the blog. I have intimated the developments on the blog to my father Janab Abdul Latif Khan. He is happy to see the developments on the blog. Alas! he could write something on the blog. Any way some of my thoughts are influneced by him also.
    It is nice to see Janab Aslam sahab on the blog with his comments. In the response I want to make things more clear. It is correct that Mr. Kalia won the election because of his good team effort though through wrong means. Believe me if the elections were done in accordance with the norms set by Election Commision of India , we could have won by the more than 1000 votes. The popularity of my father was far far better than anybody else. You all know that in Chak pahara polling centre it was complete both capturing. This was possible because the complete govt machinary of district was working on the directions of Mr. Rajendra Singh ex-MLA and a minister in UP Govt and Kalia was in the good books of Rajendra Singh.Now he has ditched Rajendra singh. 'Choron ke bhi usool hote hain'. I have personally seen many people taking this defeat to the heart and core. They wept, cried and was heart rending and a new experience for me indeed.

    Dear Aslam Sahab, you seem to be more concerned about others like a true samaritan. In this world there is both truth and lie. There are some universal truths which I feel everbody recognises i.e truth, honesty etc. The laws of the land are framed in accordance with these sacrosanct principle's of humanity. Bhagat Singh can't be compared with Kalia and the comparison is against the set norms of the civilised society. He fought against the opression by Britishers and was indeed a martyr with a mass following.Kalia on the other hand does not have the mass following and the power lies in some corrupt hands and presently is being misused by suppressing the legitimate rights of his fellow people which can't be condoned and appreciated in a civilised society.

    On the other comment you have interalia said 'opportunity comes to their way ,most of them will prove even worst than Mr Kalia what little experience I have gathered about Bhargain and its people'.
    I feel you should not have generalised this statement as it may hurt some people. There are still some dedicated people and honest people.
    The problem with such people is that they are not bold. Honesty , integrity and boldness is a rarest combination.
    Any way all is not lost, I still see a ray of hope and if we all like minded people unitedly fight against his mis-deeds not against Kalia than certainly victory will be ours.

    Dear Rauf,

    Your comments about education were indeed apreciable. I have got one question to you as why you are so eager in changing the topic. This topic to me is very interesting.

  46. Asslamu alaikum Dear Aftab, Bhatti , Azhar and others ;
    It would have been appreciable had the people introduced themselves from Bhargain lineage. As did Mr Azhar and Mr Aftab to make the comments more interesting.I am happy to see Mr Aftab responding to my comments .Some of the remarks were really misunderstood and misinterpreted in a manner to convey altogether the different meaning than what I really meant and interpreted hereunder;
    The narration of your last election experience was interesting to know and have strengthened my view point only as one of the qualities of man to mould the situation in his own favour everytime and still continues to do the so. The example of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was cited to explicitly explain and emphasize my view point that how the perception of people changes in the same situation and with so much of my views over this blog how can it be interpreted different way? How can I glorify a fellow without any evidence about his positive work when I even refused to criticize for his bad work in the absence of facts and figures? I still repeat that perception of people varies from person to person for the same person in the same situation and Kalia is definitely a hero for his supporters in Bhargain. It is pertinent to note that the perception of the people is guided by what it suits them and not always guided by universal truth and laws of land. Their perception is with them our perception is with us however it really matters the most and sometime is very painful. Had people been wise enough to agree with the Universal truth and laws of land,no disputes would have been there.But unfortunately it is not the case that’s why disputes are there, everywhere and more in the civilized society you are talking about.The so called civilized people are fighting like cats and dogs for their own vested interest.Stronger nations are dictating terms to weaker nations, opinions of majority are being forced on minorities against their wishes. Innocent people are being framed and maltreated on fictitious charges.Alas! people would have been been guided by Universal truth then there would not have been any dispute anywhere in this world. It is very easy to preach ideology but very difficult to practice. May Allah Subhanuhu Ta’ala help all of us to think for every human being around us. Regarding your comment about the “misuse of power by some corrupt people cannot be tolerated in civilized society” then I am interested to know as what great things have been done to get rid of these corrupt people in your opinion except to wait and watch for the next election to come ? What is the civilized society doing and what are the great efforts being made by them ?
    Regarding my comments about the people that if given opportunity to them Most of them will prove even worst than Kalia.” Most of them, you know Mr Aftab does not mean all of them” so the right persons have been left out of this comment purposely meant for these honest and right thinking guys only. Well before that also I have used the word “Except few of them” which was also ignored to carry altogether a different meaning.If you read my comments in continuation it is quite clear that “except few of them” was also used purposely to make my comment more acceptable ,meaningful and truthful.So please be rationale to interpret the comments so that its meaning is understood in right perspective and spirit and not otherwise.
    Further Mr Aftab I could not make it out as why are you advising Mr Bhatti to be more patient for desired results to come and probably not to disclose the identity. I am unable to understand the strategy behind and what great purpose it will serve to hide the identity of a fellow Bhatti ?.

  47. I am happy that postive qualities of Mr Nafees Ahmed are out in open. Well I believe that nobody would like to teach his or her children the skills of manipulation, surviving by hook or crook, managing the show by all means. If these would have been the positive qualities, then every parent among us would have sent his or her children to the school where all these qualities are professed in abundance. But I am afraid that nobody has tried or would try to inculcate these qualities in their children. I am sure no religious text would qualify these traits as positive traits.

  51. Dear Azhar ,Aftab and others asslamu alaikum;
    “Let us not forget to greet each other with Assalamu alaikum”
    I am really very happy that you are going through my comments very eagerly and responding so quickly.Regarding your comments about the positive qualities of Mr Nafees which I enumerated last time following more lines may clarify your doubt about my assessment as under;
    A professional is assessed with his professional qualities and spiritual virtues like,honesty, sincerity,dedication and sacrifice and like that many others.The spiritual virtues are not taught in any school but are inherent qualities in a human being and comes mainly from parental background,company(sohbat) and of course in religious texts with religious mindset of individual and varies from person to person.You will agree that even an excellent professional may be very poor in spiritual qualities.Unfortunately among the present day leaders the spiritual virtues are very rare and materialistic virtues have become their professional virtues.Leaders with spiritual virtues are very rare breed and are on the verge of extinction.Surprisingly leaders are being elected by public on the basis of their materialistic virtues(money, muscle and manipulations etc) leaving aside their professional and spiritual virtues and has not been so far a total disqualification by public. However in recent Parliament elections- 2009 the trend has suddenly reversed and most of the candidates with proven tainted image were defeated. So there is a hope that Almighty may reverse the trend for Bhargain also and people of Bhargain may decide their future leaders based on their professional and spiritual virtues. Please note that qualities as possessed by Mr Nafees as enumerated earlier may continue to qualify under positive qualities till these are rejected by public and I had explicitely clarified there itself in my comment that it may not qualify your criteria but it hardly matters for mr Nafees till public is accepting him knowing probably fully well that these qualities are very much there.
    (i) A teacher is assessed by experts with his professional qualities of knowledge. his teaching methodology and communication skills and of course spiritual virtues.
    (ii) A Maulvi is assessed by experts with his Knowledge of Islamic theology and recitation of Quran and of course his undisputed Islamic faith and of course spiritual virtues.
    (iii) A Doctor is assessed by experts with his performance in medical profession and his dedication and sincerity for patients
    (iv) Unfortunately a leader is assessed by public only ignoring all the merits, professional and spiritual virtues ‘aur yahan ke usool thoda mukhtalif hain.
    Dear Azhar this is the school of politics where the qualities possessed by Nafees are treated as positive quality and as an asset and may continue so till it is rejected by public. So it is upto you whether you want to join the school of politics or not where these are , it appears to me , a compulsory subject rather than optional.I have also not heard anybody who became saint after joining politics rather I know many persons who were spoiled after joining politics.

    Well I do not wish to stretch the point of positive qualities of Mr Nafees too far….but I believe that for a leader, professional virtues and spiritual virtues can not be seen in isolation. A true leader needs to possess true blend of both. Our Islamic history is also replete with plenty of examples where leaders have shown a great blend of both spiritual and professional virtues. I do not agree to the point that spiritual virtues are not taught in schools and if that is the case then I am sorry to say that this is virtual death of our school system. I agree that even an excellent professional may be very poor in spiritual qualities, but the talking point here is the qualities of a leader. I also agree to the point that leaders with spiritual virtues are very rare breed and leaders are being elected by public on the only basis of their materialistic virtues. Precisely this is the reason why we have been hooked to this debate. I also hope and pray to Allah that the trend of electing people for public offices gets reversed. Let me also add that the school of politics is great to join and history is having numerous examples where great people have joined it and also where ordinary people have joined and have become great.
    I know most of us are so involved in their professional lives that we can not reform the process or the system, but at least we can become change agents.

  54. Asslamu alaikum Dear Aftab, Bhatti , Azhar and others ;
    Thanks a lot for your views expressed over here and I want to add few lines in response to it.
    Dear Aftab I will definitely send compilation of shairs to you but you have to wait a little.First I have to use them otherwise they will become old for you.
    Dear Bhatti why you have atopped expressing your views all of a sudden .you also express your views so that it remains more thought provoking and lively, may it be under your disguise identity only.You appears to all Bhattis “ blessing in Disguise.”
    Dear Azhar, you have to tell me If our school system is healthy and promotes spiritual virtues then why the spiritual virtues and values have gone done with the rise in literacy rate ?. Have you ever studied/seen the biography/part of biography and message of spiritual values of Great prophet Mohammad (PBUH) sufi saints and any wali Allah (Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti,Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia,Baba Farid,etc) any companion of prophet any where in syllabus being taught in English Medium School),so how can the spiritual virtues can be inculcated amongest students of these schools on the basis of some cooked up stories? That’s why now even lesser than 1% graduates may not qualify the criteria of spiritual virtues like honesty, truth,Akhlaq,respect to each other and to elders,trust and faithfulness.So education system has undoubtedly collapsed as far as spiritual values are concerned and that ‘s why it is going down day by day..How can virtues be inculcated amongst students with rising trend of Education system being converted to profit centres and industry? Everybody will agree that Present Education System undoubtedly promotes excellently professional values but hardly emphasizes spiritual values .
    Then Islamic Greats were not the political persons at all though it appeared to the world so. These spiritual personalities, called Amir ul Momnin “Leader of believers” were guided by the Islamic belief and principles and their sole concern was Khauf -e -khuda and submission to the will of Allah subanuhu Ta’ala and Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Of course it is not possible for a common Muslim to follow them completely but at least one can try it and follow it as far as possible .This is exactly what is required and through this blog I had already conveyed in my very first comment over this blog I had posted and want to repeat that “Practicing Religion in word and spirit can bring the change in the people of Bhargain.”
    (1) Koi Andaaza kya kar sakta hai uske zor bazu ka
    Badal jaati hain taqdeerein Nigahe marde momin se.

    (2) Aadmi na usko Jaaniyo ,ho kitna bhi sahebe fahmo waqa,
    Jise aish mein yaade Khuda na rahe, aur taish mein khauf -e- Khuda na rahe
    Bahadur Shah Zafar
    It is further added that ordinary persons have become great not only by joining politics but almost in every field like literature,industrialist, sports ,arts and culture ,educationist,Scientist,Engineers,Medicine ,spiritual,religion and almost every walks of life.And you may be aware that some of the non political personalities have excelled in the popularity chart over the political greats. American Forbes Magazine has rated Indra Noyi,CEO of MNC over Sonia Gandhi the Highest political figure from this country.Khwaja Nizamuddin Aulia enjoyed more popularity than the political stalwart of his time Sultan Alauddin Khilji and even now his place in the hearts of people is far and far above the Sultan .So Greats will always find their way to their place and position where from they belong and need not necessarily join politics to prove their worth which now a days is rated very low from intellectual point of view.You will agree that the present day miseries inflicted on the Muslims of this sub-continent are more due to politicians and their political blunders of the past to fulfil their political ambitions and Muslims have been humiliated throughout this world in recent past due to poor political decisions only .

    Dear Aslam Bhai…..
    Your assertion that, the spiritual virtues have taken a downturn with the increase in literacy rate is indeed very true. But I do not hold only the school system (Including Madrasa’s and Modern Educational Institutes) responsible for the decline of spiritual values. Our society and institution of family is equally responsible for that. I agree that Modern education system has converted to profit centre and promotes professional values rather than spiritual values. But I want to ask few questions.
    1. Whose making is the present day modern educational system??
    2. Why have the societal and family values degraded to such low levels??
    3. If we know that the present educational system is not living up to our expectations, then what are we doing to counter that?
    Whatever little experience or exposure I have had, I have come to conclusion that the amount of spiritual quotient or the virtues are no better in those who were taught in present day's traditional or old model educational system. So again I wish to reiterate my point that we cannot solely blame the school system for this downturn in spiritual values.
    Well I have studied the biographies of Great prophet Mohammad (PBUH), sufi saints and others at home but not as part of my school syllabus. I may not have studied as comprehensively as you and others would have.
    To me whoever is working in public domain and affecting general public is into politics. Today defining politics has become a matter of perception. These days’ politics is equated to all the negative things. Politics is not a modern day phenomenon; it has been in existence since the man kind was born. So to say that Islamic history did not have any political stalwarts, does not sound convincing to me. This again is a matter of perception. Almost all modern day public policy theories somewhere find the connection with Islamic teachings.
    Well I have never said that one can become great only through the window of politics. All other fields have its share of great personalities. I believe that it is highly unfair to compare great personalities from different walks of life.
    Yes I agree that the present day miseries inflicted on the Muslims of this sub-continent are more due to politicians and their political blunders of the past.
    And Answer to the above assertion also lies therein that we need to be more politically savvy while making decisions affecting public in general.

  61. Dear friends,

    It is very true that all the negativity which is presently lying in our society can't be attributed to politics. Look at the politics that is being followed in other developed countries which is brimming with all the ingredients of devolopment and positivity.Politics is also synonymous with power and if the power lies in the hands of forward looking people , the society, the state prospers and ultimately the dividend goes to public and vice-a- versa it is not so. There is nothing wrong with politics. The only problem with indian Politics is that it doesn't have right blend of people as the right thinking people are self/family centric and lack initiative.
    I still have a vivid memory of one instance that when the counting of Votes were going on in Patiali, the SDM present there asked me 'why you people are involved in this politics as this is not for you'.
    Believe me this kind of attitude has made politics as untouchable to the right thinking class and hence the present day politics is dominated by all kinds of anti-social elements.If you want to do good to your people than more often you have the feeling of despondency as you are powerless and power lies some where else and law of the land is twisted in favour of the powerful.

    Dear Aftab,Azhar,Rauf aand Bhatti;

    I , in the beginning itself,emphasised that Spiritual values are learnt from Institutions like parents,sohbat(society) and religious teachings/texts etc and schools are not solely responsible for it.With the solid foundation laid at home for spiritual values, schools at best can protect and enhance the qualities like discipline,behaviour,regularity,punctuality etc which are also equally important for person to shoulder the responsibility in whatever form it comes upon him/her in future.With the decline of religious education and teachings at home and in the society around most of the people tempted to set all wrong examples and escaping unpunished, there is sudden decline in spiritual values . Earlier religious institutions and spiritual values at home were taught with great emphsis strong and the violaters didn’t escape unpunished were the main reasons to restrain the deterioration of these values.People who have experienced always compare the earlier general administration better than that of present day . Pure religious institutes(Madarsaa) are also not making the students self reliant and most of the passouts from these Madarsas are busy to earn their own livelihood and sometime even indulge in to spread hatred amongst fellow Muslims for their own sake rather than thinking for larger interest of community.So religious education only is also falling short to serve the purpose of ummaá and produce the personalities of pre-independence days like Maulana Abul Kalam Azaad,Maulana Mohd Ali Johar and Maulana Shaukat Ali Johar to lead the community in the present day environment. Media is also not helping much in the spread of spiritual values and showing more against these values.Some of the channels with religious teachings are not liked very much by public at large if not by all so we have to help ourselves and pray to Allah subhanau Taála if we want to bail out the community from this mess and the answer to all the questions before the community and also raised by you lies in to improve our own education system with the blend of religious and Modern Education System and is not the mere talk but people have already started doing so.The Institutes based on CBSE/ISCE board with subject on Deeniyat and Islamic teachings may help a lot to mould the children towards the spiritual values and professional excellence must be opened wherever people are in a position to do so without wasting further time.

  64. It is also interesting to define politics and to me is an institution associated with the process of formation of Government and governance of people and affects undoubtedly every walks of life.Unfortunately there is no qualification for a person to contest election except that he should attain specified age of 25 years.Varun Gandhi contested election inspite of insulting speech against minority community and advice from honourable court not to contest election.But see the irony of system, the fellow not only contested election but also won with huge margin.With such a mindset of people how fair governance can be ensured . So how the present day process of formation of government of the people ,by the people and for the people can be ascertained to assure good governance and prevent election of varun Gandhi, Modis,Kodas,Thakeray,Advanis, etc with proven records of bad governance and enjoying highest political offices until unless public do not reject it.But the government is being elected by the majority people whose concern is being guided by emotions of regionalism,communalism and materialism rather than good governance and here lies the problem and challenges ahead. You will agree with me the people of Bhargain are no different and are also gripped with the virus of regionalism,material benefits, jealousy,leg pulling,clan superiority etc and very difficult to mould except the wishes of Allah subanuhu Taa’la.
    Regarding Islamic system of governance it was purely based on the Islamic principles and was to be run for the cause of Islam rather than for the sake of any individual person, race,society or country.It was based on pure merit and that’s why it thrived and dominated the entire world during Ummawi and Abbasi period when all the virtues including science and technology flourished challenging the most powerful Roman Empire of the time.Islamic governance was based on electing the best available man in Ummaá by consultation a person possessing himself highest Islamic values and virtues and governance was for the sake of Islam.However due to highest human values built in the system, it has proved so far the best available system of governance for those who sees it from political angle ie mere governance of people point of view.Personal gains and ambitions didn’t play any role and wherever and whenever personal ambitions and woldly charms overtook the religious values and virtues these powerfull Islamic states were reduced to nothing from everything. So present day circumstances are entirely different and if not impossible then next to impossible to implement this system.We can at best take some clues from it.
    Personalities from various fields were mentioned merely to balance and emphasise that for the great people all the fields are equally important irrespective of any field enjoying privilege over the other .However in present day political system there being no qualification for candidate being the flaw,people have shortcut to reach to the power and is being manipulated by people not deserving for the office/responsibility.

    Assalamalaikum,

    Mr. Bhatti, It is indeed sad on your part when you advocate that please do not interfere and leave the things to them. This blog or Bhargain is not your proprietary.In future, Kindly refrain from making such comments as it may hurt somebody. In fact I have told about this blog to two of my cousins Anis and Zaheer. So far they have not reacted on this blog. I even donot understand why others except very few are contributing to this blog. Let us not doubt the integrity of the few who really want to achieve something great for Bhargain. Instead of critising these people We should congratulate them for straight forward views.

    Dear Aslam Sahab,

    Yesterday I told my abbajan about the comments made by you on the Blog. In the conversation he reminded about your Marhoom father Janab Ismail khan and added that he was a great friend and a man with equally great virtues.

    Salams! Congratulations. I am not agreed with the current topic mentioned about Chairman and Kalia .... I think, we should not waste our valuable time in discussing all this. I suggest we should come forward and do some creative work. We can run some awareness program (IEC) so that our Bhargain Janta can be benefited and can choose better leader in coming days. Let us join together and do some progressive work for our bhargain people Inshallah.

  72. Asslamu alaikum dear viewers;

    Mr Aftab thanks for the appreciation of the virtues of my late father Mohd Ismaeel Khan as narrated to you by your father who was a great friend of my father.Yes he was a gem of human being and had a very clear heart . I request to all of you to Pray for his Maghfirat. Amin
    Mr Bhatti on your request ,I want to elaborate further that from the address which you have posted over this blog anybody can make it out what you want to convey in response to a sincere and serious request to disclose your identity? Secondly in one of your comments a healthy,intellectual and progressive discussion for the people of Bhargain has been narrowed down merely to a debate between Mr Azhar and Mr Aslam ,another non serious attempt to misrepresent the whole issue. As a matter of fact some very intelligent and enthusiastic queries were raised by Mr Azhar,Mr Aftab and Mr Rauf and initially by you also and were responded back with equal enthusiasm with the best of my knowledge and wisdom to generate interest over this blog and never meant the way as perceived by you.We expect in future also similar responses from others also so that the interest of the viewers on this blog remains alive.
    Regarding your advice to me to face Bhattis boldly, it is added that my boldness cannot be questioned by anyone as whatever I have written over this blog is under my own identity only and any intelligent mind can make it out what I want to say but we really doubt the boldness of those who are writing under his disguised identity and want to bring the change in society. A brave Bhatti will never do this and hide his identity to say something what he feels or thinks correct.

    Mr Rauf ,you have some great and revolutionary ideas about the progressive education system and want to put in practice. Your views are really appreciable and we assure our full support but somebody has to take initiative in this regard.Here I have a sincere advice for you as below;.
    An Education Trust Like “Chishtiya Education Trust” or with any other name comprising President,Vice president,General Secretary,Jt secretary and Body of Executive Members (to be elected annually/biannually) should be formed with draft constitution and post it on this blog to take advice from fellow Bhattis within specified time frame .After taking opinion ,final draft should be prepared and put over this blog. The Trust should be got Registered first and land should be registered in the name of this trust so that in future it is not anybody’s personal property.”

    hi , this is Hafiz ali Khan

    Dear Bhatti,
    Salaam , I am feeling great to post my comment as a bhatti at this blog.
    It is really a great beginning for all of us to share our ideas in this manner and I do agree with you in lot of things except few.
    First of all I would like to humbly request you not to bifurcate your ideas between literate and illiterate better you differentiate between educated and uneducated as education denotes bigger view than literacy, every individual who understand the society rationally can be called educated. And it is always better to educate the uneducated then to differentiate.
    Secondly I would say "Words has the real power if they are executed else they are like air in air "
    I have read many bhatti’s comment in this blog. It is good to have open session , but being biased to anything or anybody won’t serve the purpose of this blog.

    You have mentioned that criticism is welcome and good but dear only criticism for the shake of criticism is heartbreaking for any society .

    This is regarding our comments being posted over this blog,it is my sincere advice to all of you to respect each other’s emotions and feelings before responding it.We should remain sensible enough in our behaviour and language and select the adjectives cautiously so that it links with the comments and is not quoted out of reference. Hope that in future all will pay due respect to each other and Bhatti brotherhood will flourish day by day.
    Here is a moral teaching fro Islamic texts;
    “Once Hazrat Ali Karamullah wajhu was challenged by enemy wrestler in one of the battlefields. After sometime the enemy was overpowered by Hazrat Ali Karamullah wajhu and he took out dagger to kill him.But the enemy wrestler spit over the face of Hazrat Ali and also abused him. Hazrat Ali left him on that moment itself to let him go.On this he was amazed and could not believe as why he was let off though his behaviour was unpardonable.Hazrat Ali replied that earlier my fight with you was for the sake of Allah and now onward it would have been for the sake of my own Nafs that is to seek revenge from you for my insult. So hence now onwards my fight with you will be a Gunah and Allah will not forgive me for my this sin.” On this great behaviour of Hazrat Ali Karamullah Wajhu the wrestler accepted Islam . People of Bhargain will also change with courteous behaviour towards them. May God help us in our great cause for the sake of people of Bhargain.
    Look how good behaviour can change a person . Islamic History is full of such examples.

    I appreciate the advice and comments of aslam bhai(my class fellow of kheda) various issues.In regard of new trust/organization to be come into being at bhargain.I think you might be aware about bhatti social association based at baroda it came into being in 1995.Since then this organization is working mainly for betterment of bhattis.Many a time in the past our members have done tremendous job at the time of crises.Our organization took the oppurtunity to help the needy people time and again.We are running a higher- secondary english medium school at baroda.More than 900 pupils are studying there.We have organized many seminars and meetings to develop awareness about education,health and unity,the jurisdiction of bhatti social association is all india.We can set up its branches at bhargain and anywhere in india where bhattis are residing.I think there is no need to set up new organization.I hope we should work together for educational and social upliftment of our people.
    I donot welcome some comments raised by ,rauf, ahtesham,and alex.Tum se mohlla nahi samalta gaon kya sabhaloge mr alex and ahteshamalso also wrote in a same fashion irresponsible and baseless comments made by them.You must not forget that many many a time late Ibrahim lincon former president of USA lost the election of municiplity.I advice you please change your thinking before taking in hand any benificial work for our community.you are targetting particular family rather than commenting on the subject of Mr bhatti . Mr bhatti is un neccessarily making Mr kalia a hero .He does not deserve appreciation.among literate and social workers once upon a time i went to Mr.Kalia regarding chanda for school building,he was making mockery of literate class of bhargain by saying that BA pass to merey yahan pandara sao me naukari karte hain Anis bhai kyon padhai ke peechey bhag rahe ho school ke liye to ek paisa bhi nahi doonga.Mr Bhatti please select new topic for further comments. I was keeping mum and reading your comments since long time, majbooran mujhe bolna pada Mr kalia is also our brother but I am against his way of working.I again appreciate some inspiral couplets of aslam bhai and some suggestions of zaheer, aftab,rauf,hafiz..

  87. Aslmkm to all ….
    I just came to know abt this blog two days back (source:azhar khan )and read it all …..it really enhanced my knowledge abt the history of the place many folds.
    Congratulations and best wishes to all …whosoever is relentlessly contributing to our beloved hometown’s progress directly or otherwise ….
    Its gud and appreciable effort on part of Mr. bhatti (Mr. India ) for a nice beginning and providing a platform for the people of such a high repute and knowledge and of course intellect (evident in d abv discussions ) to discuss sumthin associated wid one and all .
    As far as the question is considered ….i wud lik to contribute by sain “NO” ….
    Bt the question of literate and illiterate is nt appreciable …..the quest and search should always be there fr an individual who could prove to be effective and nt any hooligan as the “subject” here is ….though we see sum construction(roads etc.) work in the town which is commendable ….bt that is also well understood why and how….…
    I cud nt resist myself to put my point when I cam across this ….
    Well bhargain is nt what it used to be …..the education level has decreased drastically be it religious or otherwise ….it has stopped producing engg. & doctors & middle class ….what it could do easily in the most adverse of the situations …..obvious reasons are there ..our focus is nt at the core issues.and may be we are nt that affluent or busy with basics of life . …bt the fact is…there is no emphasis on developing SME,education,…….. We all can say and write a lot about all this as we all are gud at this thing, its an imbibed trait of 1 and all bhattis ….its even hard to find milk in the town() ……we need to ponder and decide where r we goin wrong ….
    I wouldn’t count the problems any further bt there are suggestions which we may think upon and practice if we can …….may be most of us are already doin these things:
    1) Just think what the issues are. and what can be the easiest solution.
    2) We can make it a habit to spread awareness about opportunities available for the youth (counseling centers).
    3) We can make people innovate and create job opportunities in the town itself.
    4) We must make our women educated as “they say the people whose mother are uneducated will always find it harder to survive .”
    5) Whenever we are in the town we can visit colleges and schools and deliver lectures . and contribute.
    Please pardon me if I went wrong sumwhere ,,,,I may hav written sumthin wrong ,as I hav been out of the town for most of my life … .. and may nt understand the place and people aptly ..as others may……

    this is not my only suggestion to this blog
    In my previous comment also if u have read properly and even in this also there were more than one request and suggestion.
    I hope u understand all of them let me clear once more
    1) Let all of us know each other including U!!
    2) Change this topic
    3) Try to collect some good ideas and emphasis should on what we can rather what we have not. Mere talking about problems and arguing that who is culprit is like searching pure water from the mud.
    Stand of Rauf bhai is quite very clear and I do agree with him, History is History
    better we all should plan for future.

    I think the way all things are moved in this blog whoever is controlling, it is more of political then of social concern.
    Zaheerbhai idea is very clear regarding this and I do agree with it.

    We all are thankful to u for opportunity to express ourself in this open forum but I am afraid, the purpose may be defeated if the things goes on like this , politics no doubt is a vital part of our society but is not the only part of our society.

    main manta hun wo corrupt hai, be iman hai, chor hai, etc. par wo apne fayde ke saath dusron ka bhi fayda karwata hai, usne abhi college banwaya to paisa kamane ko to hum us college se education le sakte hain, usne goan mein bricks ka bhatta lagaya to har gali pakki ho gayi jo barish mein nadti thi, etc .
    jab humen wo unpaad sab kuch de raha hai to hum use bura kyon kahe. ye to bade shame ki baat hai ki unpad padhe likhon se age hai. aur jo aap yahan blog par discuss karte ho to kabhi goan mein karke dikhao. jab unpad chairman goan ko samjha sakta hai to hum educated market mein rahne wale log kyon nahin us ke paas finance hai to kya tumhare paas nahin

    socho fir batao
